Projects Policy design, Implementation, capacity building & evaluation Slovenian Pro- active Industrial policy, 1999-2004. Anteja’s expert team was directly involved in the design and implementation of the pro-active industrial policy in Slovenia in the period 1999 until 2004. The team developed the strategy and comprehensive policy program for entrepreneurship and competitiveness, including sets of policy measures to support internationalization of the economy (inward and outward investment); measures to stimulate enterprise cooperation and cluster development (value chain, clusters and technology networks); comprehensive program on entrepreneurship and SME development (business environment, support infrastructure, access to finance) and a program to support knowledge creation and innovation. The team was directly involved in EU association process in Slovenia, leading negotiations on enterprise and industrial policy and internal market regulation. The team has gained vast experience in preparation and management of the EU pre-accession funds, using them to support the implementation of the policy program, for example, Phare projects on development of business cones, development of technology centers, development of the SME support infrastructure (One-Stop-Shop support system, business incubators). |
